I am currently working with a medium-sized company in Edinburgh to review their office facilities support. The work includes reviewing/assessing their existing facilities, procedures and policies. A report will be made to management with recommendations, agreed recommendations will be actioned and relevant staff training carried out.
I carried out a similar project with a small London company some years ago (2006). I provided key guidance to directors on statutory and regulatory compliance, developed comprehensive policies and procedures, and delivered targeted training to staff to effectively manage, operate, and report on the newly implemented systems.
Between 2006 and 2009 I successfully managed the development and delivery of a new £12.5M, 44,000 sq ft headquarters facility. The project was completed to a high-quality specification, delivered on budget and finalised two weeks ahead of schedule.
In advance of the main headquarters move, I sourced and organised fitting out of temporary office accommodation in Dundee, and seamlessly space-planned and relocated 110 staff.
In 2005 I successfully introduced a digital dictation system to enhance secretarial workflow efficiency. This included end-to-end project management: researching the market, selecting the most suitable solution, and overseeing seamless system integration across the firm.
In 2004 I managed the relocation of 90 IT staff from Riverside Drive, Dundee to newly acquired premises of approximately 10,000 sq ft. This involved close coordination with IT teams, facilities, and external providers to ensure minimal disruption and operational continuity.
